Today Combat parade dedicated to the Day of Motherland Defenders was held at the 40th military base “Otar”. President Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the parade that happened for the first time in the history of Kazakhstan and its Armed Forces.

President Nursultan Nazarbayev took part in the parade that happened for the first time in the history of Kazakhstan and its Armed Forces.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev awarded top of grade ranks and special ranks to servicemenPresident of the Republic of Kazakhstan underlined that traditionally awards are distributed on the eve of the Day of Motherland Defenders which is celebrated as a national holiday for the first time this year. 
Full rehearsal of Combat parade was held at military baseA full rehearsal of the upcoming Combat parade was held at “Otar” military base today. This was the final stage in the preparations for the Motherland Defenders Day’s celebration, which will take place on 7th May. 
The aviation element of Combat paradeToday at the 40th military base “Otar” the parachute assault of special forces units from military transport Aircraft C-295 took place in the framework of preparation to the Combat parade. It was held for the first time since turboprop aircraft of “Airbus Military” come into view of Air Defence Forces of Kazakhstan. 
The crew prevented aircraft crash on populated locality and demonstrated courage and heroismToday press conference on the fact of MiG-31 aircraft crash was held in the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As reported earlier, April 23, 2013 at 22.41 MiG-31 plane crashed because of technical failure during scheduled night training flights. The crew catapulted. Plane commander Colonel Marat Edigeev died, and navigation officer Galimzyanov Ruslan Raifovich was taken to hospital. There is no threat to his life.  Condolence of Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Adilbek Dzhaksybekov expressed condolences to friends and family of Colonel Marat Edigeev who died during the accident of MiG-31. “In the name of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan and on my behalf I condole with near and dear ones of aircraft pilot of Air Defence Forces of Kazakhstan Colonel Marat Edigeev upon his loss in discharge of duty,” Minister of Defence added. Condolence of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Servicemen and overhead personnel of Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan express their condolence on the occasion of loss of Colonel Marat Edigeev who died during performance of exercise-training flight. “We share the tragic loss of the family of Marat Edigeev, and we conceive the tragedy as our own one because we lost comrade-in-armes, adviser and a true friend,” servicemen of Kazakhstan army noted. Military equipment, weapons and communications means are produced by the enterprises of Kazakhstan’s defence industry complex forming part of JSC “National Company “Kazakhstan engineering”. |
